RADIO/SESSIONS/WRITING
RADIO:
Patti has sung on live and recorded programmes for the BBC with the Echoes of Ellington Big Band. She has also sung the music for BBC plays including 'A Catapult' and 'A Lady’s Spin' by Sheila Goff.
Patti can also be heard singing on various radio stations in the UK.
SESSIONS:
Patti has recorded for many dance labels, singing Lead Vocals on 'Fame' and 'Whole Again' released by Klone Records, various tracks for Chris Lucas at Passion Records, Ritmo Records, vocals for library music, Lead and Backing vocals on Eurovision songs, Lead/Backing vocals for harmony group 'Sister Soul', Lead Vocal on the theme tune for 'Booth', Lead vocal on a duet with Canadian artist Rob MacDougall, Backing Vocals for 'Dodo Spares', Lead Vocalist on 920 Deluxe 'Dance Set' CD, Lead Vocalist on 'Rockin’ at Ronnies' CD recorded live at Ronnie Scott’s Club with the Echoes of Ellington Big Band, film sessions, including 'Tomb Raider', 'The Ugly Duckling' and 'The Snow Queen' (also providing the voices for some of the characters).
She has recorded at Abbey Road Studios, Air Studios, BBC Broadcasting House, BBC Pebble Mill Studios, Snake Ranch Studios, and live at Ronnie Scott's Club London and Birmingham, plus many other studios throughout the UK.
VOICE OVER:
As well as singing on the Soundtracks of 'The Snow Queen' and 'The Ugly Duckling' (American Film Animations), Patti also provided voices for a number of the characters in the film.
WRITING:
Patti writes her own material, some of which is to be included on her solo album with the Patti Revell Quintet.
Her original music is written in a jazz style but she also writes in a modern acoustic style with co-writer/guitarist Andy Jones.
Patti has also co-written with Andy Mitchell and one of their tracks 'No One Can Touch Us' is featured on the Rochelle album.
Their style of writing is aimed at the Dance Charts. |
